Imran Khan sworn in as new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Imran Khan, who took oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan, was presented a guard of honour on his arrival at PM House in Islamabad today by a contingent drawn from three services.

Official notification has been issued about oath-taking of Imran Khan as Prime Minister of Pakistan.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warmly congratulated Imran Khan on the assumption of office as prime minister.

BALOCHISTAN ASSEMBLY- President Balochistan Awami Party Mir Jam Kamal Khan elected as new Leader of the House.

SINDH ASSEMBLY-  Oath taking ceremony of newly elected Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah is being held at Governor House in Karachi this evening.

PUNJAB ASSEMBLY-  Meets tomorrow at 11:00 in the morning to elect Leader of the House.  

HAJJ 2018- More than two million Muslims will perform Hajj this year for which rituals starts tomorrow.

LOC FIRING- Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing on Danna sector along the Line of Control today, targeting the civilian population.

FO  STATEMENT-  Foreign Office spokesman has strongly rejected reports alleging that some Taliban fighters involved in the Ghazni attack were offered medical treatment in Pakistani hospitals.
