National Assembly on Wednesday passed five government bills related to the FATF after developing a consensus between opposition and treasury benches

Amendments were considered essential in the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) bill, 2020 was moved by Minister for Law Farogh Naseem taking the floor, the Law Minister said it is a historic day that the FATF related legislation is being carried out today with consensus in the larger interest of the country.
