Minister for Human Rights Kamran Michael says Pakistan is committed to safeguard human rights of all its citizens including women, minorities and children.

He expressed these views while talking to a British delegation in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Kamran Michael apprised the delegation that National Commission for Human Rights, which has the powers to take suo-moto actions on the cases of human rights violations. He said that a helpline “1099” for legal advice to the victims of Human rights violations has also been launched for the speedy redressal of their grievances.
