ADB delegation visited BOI, discussed CPEC scope
Asian Development Bank is conducting a study on potential economic development along corridor.
A four-member delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Wajid Rana visited Board of Investment (BOI) in Islamabad on Wednesday and held a meeting with Secretary of the Board Azher Ali Choudhry.
During the meeting scope of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other development projects came under discussion.
The ADB delegation told the BOI that Bank is conducting a study on the potential economic development along the corridor.
Secretary, BOI said that the government has identified nine prioritized special economic zones with the consultation of provincial governments besides 46 other SEZ locations.
