WFP expresses satisfaction over food security of repatriated FATA IDPs
Food Security and Livelihoods Assessment of Returned Households Residing in FATA report launched.
In FATA, the food security of the repatriated displaced people has improved significantly since 2014.
This was informed in a report "Food Security and Livelihoods Assessment of Returned Households Residing in FATA" launched by the United Nations World Food Programme in Islamabad on Monday.
Speaking at the event, Additional Chief Secretary FATA Dr Fida Muhammad Wazir said with the government's continued efforts, some two hundred fifty thousand displaced families have returned, while some fifty thousand families are still living away from their original homes.
