Chairman Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) Syed Noor has appealed to cinema owners to support local film industry by giving maximum time to popular Pakistani films.

In an interview in Lahore on Tuesday, he regretted that even those Pakistani films are being removed from the silver screen which are doing good business.

He said that this act of cinema owners is discouraging the producers and they are facing financial losses.

Syed Noor said that Pakistani film producers are determined to restore the film industry to its past glory.

He vowed that he and his colleagues will make every effort to achieve that goal.

He hoped that cinema owners will cooperate with Pakistani film producers.
