PMD to provide modern aviation met services from New Islamabad airport to flights
The met office will also upgrade its existing aviation-met services at all airports soon.
Pakistan Meteorological Department will provide advanced-technology- based aviation met services from New Islamabad international Airport to all international and national flights.
According to details, the Department has procured a state-of-the-art “Pilot-MetBriefing-System” from France for installation at New Islamabad international Airport.
Technical staff of PMD has been trained about the system by Aviation Expert from French Meteorology and an Aviation software developing company.
The Met Office will also up-grade its existing aviation-met services at all airports soon.
