[Leading national coach of badminton in Pakistan Raziuddin speaks in the Sports World program of News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan

Pakistan has an immense young talent which can be exploited for the promotion of badminton in the country. In past the game of badminton has been neglected in Pakistan due to which no international player could make place in international top rankings. Raziuddin Ahmad said the syllabus of sports should be introduced at school-level.  In this regard, students can be given sports-related activities as home work besides their academic work load.  The national coach of Pakistan said many innovations have been made in the game of badminton internationally which should also be replicated in Pakistan. In this connection, he said designed multi-feeding, shuttle feeding machine and other improvements need to be introduced at the earliest to give the players experience to help them play at international field.

Test player Sharjeel Khan has been banned for five years, after finding guilty of spot fixing charges. Pakistan Women Baseball team to leave for Hong Kong on Saturday. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from 2nd to 7th of next month.  Besides Pakistan, Japan, Chinese Taipei, India, Korea and host Hong Kong are participating in the tournament.

Pakistan Women Baseball team will leave for Hong Kong on Saturday to participate in the 1st BFA Women's Baseball Asian Cup.  The tournament is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from 2nd to 7th of next month.  Besides Pakistan, Japan, Chinese Taipei, India, Korea and host Hong Kong are participating in the tournament.
