Gilani pays glowing tributes to Hurriyat leaders in different jails of India, Occupied Kashmir
In occupied Kashmir, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Gilani has paid glowing tributes to the illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory.
In a statement issued in Srinagar on Wednesday, he said the people of Kashmir are striving for securing their right to self-determination guaranteed by global community.
Meanwhile, people held forceful protests at Hajin in Bandipora district on Wednesday after Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
Indian police and troops fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.
