Barjees Tahir presents Kashmir Council's budget

Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir on Sunday presented Kashmir Council's budget for the year 2015-16 in Council's first budget session in Islamabad.
Presenting the budget, he proposed development budget of five thousand two hundred and forty eight million rupees for the AJK Council Secretariat that also include one thousand four hundred and fifty five million rupees for Members Development Programme.
The Minister said that over one thousand one hundred and sixty four million rupees have been allocated for road infrastructure and buildings of offices.
President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan presided over the session.
On conclusion of the session, Fateha was offered for the people and security personnel, who embraced martyrdom due to provocative firing by Indian troops along the Line of Control and incidents of terrorism in the country.
The session also unanimously approved a condemnation resolution presented by Chaudhry Barjees Tahir against the Indian aggression along the Line of Control.
