The government has decided to reduce the petroleum prices from today (Thursday).        

Prime Minister has given its approval during a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in London.

The Finance Minister briefed the Prime Minister on cumulative reduction in POL prices during the last three months. He told the economic policies, stabilization of the value of Rupees and increase in foreign exchange reserves have stimulated the recent reduction in POLs prices. 

The Prime Minister directed Finance Minister that the benefits of the strong economy should reach the common man.      

The Finance Minister told that the price of diesel has been decreased by Rs. 4.51, Kerosene oil by Rs. 3.08 and petrol by Rs. 0.34.

The new price of diesel will be Rs. 109.34, Kerosene Rs. 98.07 and petrol Rs. 107.97.

The new prices will be effective from today (Thursday).
