The World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is being observed today (Friday).

This year, the theme of the day is "Victims' Voices Lead the Way", aimed at putting a spotlight on victims’ untold stories, and on their roles in the fight against trafficking.

Meanwhile, in his message on day, the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has urged the states to take action against human trafficking, where a third of all victims are children.
