Pakistan Railways promoted on modern lines: Saad
Says financial deficit of Pakistan Railways has significantly decreased as its operations improved during last four years.
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique says Pakistan Railways has been promoted on modern lines to provide safe, inexpensive and fast mode of travelling to the passengers.
Addressing a seminar in Lahore on Monday, he said condition of Railways was very pathetic in 2013, but the PML-N government worked day and night to put the department on track of improvement.
He said financial deficit of Pakistan Railways has significantly decreased as its operations improved during the last four years.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a long term strategic investment and partnership, which should not be made controversial at all.
He said CPEC is a game changer for the country and a number of projects are being carried out under it would help strengthening the country.
