Russia, Iran agree to strengthen democratic Afghanistan
Rouhani linked lasting peace in the Middle East to the eventual defeat of terrorism.
Iran and Russia have agreed to continue strengthening a democratic Afghanistan to help it on the way toward prosperity.
It was stated by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani after holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Speaking at a joint press briefing Rouhani linked lasting peace and stability in the Middle East to the eventual defeat of terrorism. He said we discussed cooperation and interaction to fight against terrorism and we will continue this struggle until the end of all terrorist activities in the region.
