OIC delegation in Pakistan to gain a better understanding of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute
A high-ranking delegation of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of OIC visited Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation is visiting Pakistan and AJK to gain a better understanding of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and to interact with the refugees from the occupied Jammu and Kashmir who escaped Indian atrocities. India, so far has not responded to the IPHRC's request for access to Occupied Kashmir to assess the human rights situation there. During the visit to AJK, the delegation called on the President and the Prime Minister of AJK who briefed them on the intensified, ongoing human rights violations of innocent Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces in Held Kashmir.

Chaudhary Hamid Hameed (Parliamentary Secretary on Kashmir Affairs):
The visit of OIC delegation shows that Kashmir issue has been properly highlighted. This visit is very much important for Kashmir cause. The organizations like OIC will present Kashmir issue in front of global community. By using its all media sources, India wants to pretend that there is no movement in Kashmir. The sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris will yield results and it will gain freedom within no times.
