Over Rs3 billion being spent on promotion of education in FATA: Jhagra
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says 35 schemes in education sector have been completed in FATA.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says the government is spending three and half billion rupees on promotion of education in FATA.
Addressing a function in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said fifty-nine projects in education sector had been initiated in tribal areas, and thirty-five of them have been completed.
The Governor said that funds have been allocated for timely completion of all education schemes.
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said a number of primary, middle and high schools are being upgraded to provide better education facilities to tribal people.
