PML-N Parliamentary Party endorses nomination of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as interim PM, Shahbaz Sharif as PM

A unanimous decision to this effect was taken by the PML (N) parliamentary party meeting at Punjab House in Islamabad today.
The meeting also finalized the name of Shahbaz Sharif as prime minister after the interim setup.
Addressing the party meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that his disqualification was not due to any kind of corruption in the public money.
He said that PML-N will continue to work for the progress and prosperity of the country.
He said that he was disqualified for not receiving the salary from his son. He said the salary that was not received from his son was not declared in his assets.
Nawaz Sharif said he was disqualified for not declaring the money that was not received by him. He said he has been paying tax on all his assets and declared assets as and when required.
He said that during his tenure, the major challenges facing the country have been effectively addressed. The defence of the country has been made impregnable and peace restored in the country.
Nawaz Sharif said the backbone of the terrorist has been broken and soon Pakistan will be made terrorism-free country. He said load-shedding has been significantly reduced.
Nawaz Sharif said that rule of law is imperative for putting the country on the path of development. We will have to jointly work for strengthening democracy in the country.
