Govt addressing energy, security issues to boost foreign investment
President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan offers one of the most liberal foreign investment regimes in South Asia.
President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed the confidence that the International Investment Conference will open up new avenues for foreign investment in Pakistan.
He said this at a dinner hosted in honour of participants of International Investment Conference at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
The President said Pakistan pursues business and investor friendly policies and offers unique investment opportunities to both foreign and local investors.
He said Pakistan has one of the most liberal foreign investment regimes in South Asia and foreign investors are allowed to hold 100 per cent ownership.
The President said the government is taking all possible measures to create conducive investment environment by addressing energy and security issues.
