David Cameron invites Nawaz Sharif to attend Afghanistan conference
The Conference is being co-chaired by David Cameron and Afghan President Dr. Ashraf Ghani.
British Prime Minister David Cameron telephoned Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
David Cameron invited the Prime Minister to attend Afghanistan Conference being held in London in the last week of next month.
The Conference is being co-chaired by Prime Minister David Cameron and Afghan President Dr. Ashraf Ghani and will serve to reiterate the international community’s commitment to Afghanistan.
Being Afghanistan’s most important neighbor, Pakistan’s participation in the conference would serve to highlight its commitment to peace and stability in Afghanistan.
On the sideline of the conference, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also meet his British counterpart, David Cameron and the Afghan President to discuss issues of bilateral relations.
