Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique says Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has made the defence of Pakistan stronger by carrying out nuclear explosions.
Addressing a function in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer in Lahore, he said these tests were conducted in the best interest of the country, despite enormous international pressure.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said due to effective polices of the government, the country's economy has taken off and there is a need to strengthen democracy and keep political stability for further economic progress.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a gateway to new avenues of progress and prosperity for Pakistan.
He criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan for crossing all moral limits and disrespecting state institutions.
