President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrives in Islamabad today on two-day state visit to Pakistan at the invitation of the President Mamnoon Hussain.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, this will be the first ever visit by a Belarusian President to Pakistan.

During the visit, the Belarusian President will hold meetings with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

A number of important agreements and Memoranda of Understanding are expected to be signed during the visit.
Pakistan and Belarus enjoy cordial relations.

Belarus established its resident Mission in Islamabad in November last year.

President Lukashenko's visit will help in strengthening the exiting ties between the two countries.
