Prime Minister rejects increase in POL prices
Govt to provide subsidy of Rs 1.36 billion to maintain prices at existing level.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has rejected the summary to increase prices of petroleum products and directed to maintain the existing prices during the month of August.
He also decided to decrease prices of Light Diesel Oil by 81 paisas and Kerosene Oil by 31 paisa to the consumers from tomorrow (Tuesday).
Nawaz Sharif said government would provide subsidy of 1.36 billion rupees to maintain the prices at the existing level.
