Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Govt disburses over Rs 165 mln among IDPs
More than twenty thousand IDP families have so far received their cash assistance.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, under Easar Program, has disbursed 165.6 million rupees among IDPs of North Waziristan.
According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority, 20,793 IDP families have received their cash assistance so far in different districts of the province.
About 22300 remaining families will also receive their cash assistance soon.
Meanwhile, the process of providing health facilities to IDPs is also in progress.
FATA Secretariat organized free medical camps and mobile hospitals in Bukaram Garhi, Govt High School Momoond Khel, Busher, Mangal Mela and Sarki Khel villages of District Bannu and FR Bannu.
A number of welfare organizations have also planned to distribute Eid gifts containing clothes, shoes, toys, bangles and sweets among the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency.
