152,000 ration packs distributed among IDPs
Ration packs each weighing 110 kg were distributed in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank districts.
One hundred and fifty-two thousand (152,000) ration packs each weighing one hundred and ten kilogram have so far been distributed among the internally displaced people in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and Tank.
In a statement, ISPR said fifty-two thousand special Eid packages have been distributed among IDPs and distribution of more packages is in progress.
Thirty-seven thousand patients have been treated at the Field Medical Hospitals of Pakistan Army at Bannu.
Twenty thousand and seven hundred cattles have been provided veterinary treatment, while fifty-one thousand three hundred and forty-five cattle and sixty-eight thousand eight hundred and seventy-two poultry have been vaccinated.
Forty-four tons of fodder have been distributed for livestock.
World Food Programme also continues distribution of food among the IDPs from North Waziristan.
Sources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority told our Peshawar correspondent that the WFP has so far distributed five thousand metric tonnes of food items among the IDPs .
