Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram has expressed the hope that world will respond critically to the steps taken by Indian government in occupied Kashmir and over controversial citizenship law.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan through effective policy has exposed Hindu ideology being pursued by Modi government.

Munir Akram said UN Security Council has discussed Kashmir issue twice and now Pakistan is making efforts to bring policy shift of member states besides highlighting the sentiments of people in occupied Kashmir.
