Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is a rich country for the promotion of religious tourism and historical sites.

In his message on World Tourism Day, he said the purpose of celebrating this day is to promote tourism to discover new tourist destinations and provision of facilities to the tourists.

He said the provincial government is taking all possible measures for the promotion of tourism and undertaking beautification at the tourism resorts to promote tourism industry.

He said that we can earn huge foreign exchange by promoting tourism industry.  

The Chief Minister said that country's economy can be put on the path of strong growth by promoting tourism activities. He said, Pakistan possess beautiful landscapes and unique opportunity to explore the ancient human civilizations to the worldwide tourists.

He said, K2, Nanga Parbat, Chitral, Skardu, Gilgit, Hunza and Swat, Gilgit, Murree and the mountains of Kashmir tremendously attract the tourists. He said Pakistan is a rich country in natural treasures as the cradle of ancient civilizations and cultures.

Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the government is taking effective measures to promote tourist attractions and for the promotion of tourism in the province. He said tourism Tourist buses have been conducted to explore the historical sites of Lahore Punjab. He said double-decker bus provide better tour facilities to the people of Lahore and other cities.
