Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has called upon India to abide by its international commitments on Kashmir dispute.

Addressing an International Kashmir Conference in Islamabad on Monday [27 October], he said Kashmir issue is not new, but a longstanding dispute between Pakistan and India.

The minister said India must understand that both Pakistan and India had agreed to fulfill UN Security Council's resolutions. He said India should respect the Kashmiris' right to self-determination.

Talking about the Million March in London, Pervaiz Rashid lauded the role of political parties for exhibiting unity on Kashmir cause. He said all political parties despite all their difference are united.
