Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has said China is a long trusted friend of Pakistan and a collective regional approach will benefit both the countries.

Talking to leading Chinese media in Beijing, he urged the Chinese government and private sector to invest in Pakistan, as PML-N government offers much more incentives to the investors than other countries.

To a question, he said the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will provide financial support to developing countries in Asia for infrastructure development to promote regional connectivity.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan wants to peacefully resolve all disputes with India, including Kashmir issue.

About Afghanistan, he said we are looking forward to working with the new Afghan government, but any bilateral or regional arrangement must address Pakistan's concerns and interests.

The Minister said the government has made serious efforts to counter the challenge of extremism and militancy.
