Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris: Prime Minister

In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq outside their residences in Srinagar, to prevent them from leading a march towards Kulgam district.

Meanwhile, after a brief lull in curfew yesterday, the authorities re-imposed restrictions for the 19th day, today, across the occupied territory. However, people defying curfew came out of their houses in Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Baramulla, Badgam, Bandipora, Gandarbal and other areas of the territory and held massive anti-India protests. People hoisted Pakistani flag and raised ‘Go India Go’ slogans. Hurriyet leaders and organizations in their separate statements in Srinagar called upon the international community especially the United Nations to stop genocide of the innocent Kashmiris being perpetrated by Indian occupation forces in the territory.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle to the right of self determination.
