Hajj operation starts from August 4
A meeting was held in Peshawar on Wednesday to review arrangements for Hajj operations and facilities for pilgrims.
The Hajj operation will strat from 4th of next month with a special hajj flight from Peshawar.
Four Airlines, including PIA, Saudi Airline, Shaheen and Air Blue will take Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj by a total of 68 flights.
This was decided at a meeting held in Peshawar to review arrangements for Hajj operations and facilities to be extended to pilgrims. the meeting was attended by senior officials of Ministry of Religious Affairs, Civil Aviation Authority, airlines and others.
Director Hajj Shakeel Ahmed Sethi said that all pilgrims would be vaccinated against polio at Haji Camp in Hayatabad.
It was decided that relatives would not be allowed to see off the pilgrims at airport lounge due to construction work on Bacha Khan International Airport.
