Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has asked Capital Administration and Development Division and provinces to prepare a coordinated strategy for improvement of Maths and science education.
He was speaking at the launching ceremony of the report "Powering Pakistan for 21st Century: How Maths and Science Power Nations" in Islamabad on Friday.
The Prime Minister asked them to review the findings and recommendations of the report and prepare the strategy accordingly.
The National Assembly resumed its session in Islamabad on Friday with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair.
At the outset of the proceedings, the Speaker regretted over rumpus occurred in yesterday's session of the House and the language used for the Leader of the House.
The chair suspended the proceedings of the House for thirty minutes to have consultations with parliamentary leaders of all the parties over the incident occurred yesterday.

A five member larger bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa while hearing Panama Case on Friday stated that it will dispense justice in the case.
In his remarks, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said the bench will continue to hear the case till it makes up its mind and that the requirements of justice will be fulfilled.
Justice Khosa made it clear that the bench will not be dictated by the wishes of the people.
Earlier, Shahid Hamid, who is also the counsel of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, continued his arguments in the case. He submitted that Ishaq Dar has nothing to do with Panama case.
He said his client who remained in detention in the military regime, was forced to sign the confessional statement in a NAB case. He said that every forum and court has given his client a clean chit in every case.
The court has adjourned the hearing of case till Monday.
United Nations has appreciated key the role of Radio Pakistan in disseminating message of peace and development among millions of listeners.
This was stated by Director UN Information Center Vittorio Cammarota while talking to Director General Radio Pakistan, Khurshid Malik in Islamabad on Friday.
Vittorio Cammarota said Radio Pakistan is an engine to promote UN objectives in Pakistan.
He said together with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan, UN Pakistan have produced over one hundred programmes highlighting the activities of world body in Pakistan.
He said Radio Pakistan has massive outreach in the remotest parts of the country which makes it more effective medium.
Director General, Khurshid Malik informed the guest that Radio Pakistan is broadcasting 1,130 hours programms daily in 23 regional and local languages of the country from its networks.
The construction work on 1410 MW-Tarbella 4th extension hydropower project is in full swing to generate cheap electricity.
According to WAPDA sources, the first unit of the project is expected to be completed in August this year while other two units will start power generation early next year.
The project upon completion will increase generation capacity of Tarbella Hydel Power Station from existing 3,478 MW to 4,888 MW.
