Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the Parliament is making necessary legislation needed to overcome the issues related to climate change.

Addressing a ceremony titled 'Pakistan's National Water Policy Network' in Islamabad today, the Minister said that Parliament has the most significant role to play in achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.

She said through education and awareness all problems can be sort out in a better way.

She said the Parliament of Pakistan is the first Parliament to be converted on solar energy and provides state of the art facilities regarding policing and framework on climate and water scarcity issues.

She said the census being held in March-April this year is a right step forward as lot many problems emerge out of the fast growing population.
