I.T. Board to promote technology in govt departments: SAIF
Says stamp papers to be computerized to check irregularities.
Punjab Chief Minister's Adviser on IT and Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board Dr Omar Saif says the IT Board is executing two hundred and thirty-six small and big projects to promote IT technology in government departments.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan Lahore representative Muhammad Yasser Aslam, he said the entire land record of the province is being digitised to eliminate the Patwari culture and facilitate fifty-five million landowners.
Omar Saif said stamp papers are also being computerized to check irregularities.
He said the government has already computerized seven hundred and twelve police stations to eliminate the traditional Thana culture.
