Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman says the government is strenuously working to achieve the goal of a Digital Pakistan by ensuring digital access to every nook and corner of the country.

She was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Pakistan Internet Exchange Points held at Higher Education Commission in Islamabad on Friday.

The Minister of State said the development of Internet Exchange Points is another initiative in technological advancement in the country.

She said the government is focusing on connecting the unconnected so that the fruits of development can reach at grass-roots level.

She said the optic fibre network will be improved for better connectivity.

Anusha Rehman said all leading international companies in telecommunications are ready to invest in Pakistan and are working with the Government to utilize the human resource in the country.
