Pak-Iran joint border commission meeting was held in Quetta on Wednesday and discussed matters pertaining to joint strategy against terrorists.

The meeting also discussed matters action against narcotics smugglers, supply of electricity to Pakistani areas from Iran, electronic surveillance system and trade.

On this occasion Chief Secretary Balochistan, Saifullah Chatta said that these kinds of meetings between two countries have an extra ordinary importance.

He said that Pakistan is taking all possible steps against terrorism and smuggling and stressed on the importance of joint intelligence sharing in this regard.

The Deputy Governor Sistan-Balochistan lauded the role of Pakistan in war against terrorism and said that terrorist and miscreant elements are the enemies of both countries.

He said we will not allow our land to be used against any country.
