Kashmiris’ struggle for independence gained momentum after the martyrdom of Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani on 8th July of last year. It is since then that India has been involved in unprovoked firing across the Line of Control and Working Boundary every other day, causing injuries to the innocent people living on the border-side and soldiers as well. All India wants is to deviate world’s attention from its brutalities in the held valley. If India claims itself the largest democracy of the world, it should then resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue and not to further this issue by cowardly means.
