“ECO is a very important organization and its purpose was to establish a free trade zone among member countries. Turkey, Pakistan and Iran played pivotal role in this organization. It will be a huge breakthrough if ECO countries join CPEC. All ECO member countries should take ownership and decide a framework for economic development of the region."
Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui (Economic Expert)
“ECO summit is important for the reason that it is taking place in Pakistan after 22 years. Important countries of Muslim world are part of this organization. This summit will discuss about CPEC and possibilities of ECO countries joining this project. Also, trade, investment and tourism among member countries will come under discussion during this summit."
Dr. Noor Fatima (Economic Expert)
“This summit is taking place at a very significant time. Our hostile neighbor was talking to isolate Pakistan, while our government is working for regional connectivity. The more stakeholders will become part of CPEC, the better it will be for Pakistan and for entire region. It is part of Pakistan’s policy to develop the entire region through CPEC and other projects."

“This operation was very much necessary and it should have been started earlier. Its purpose is to eliminate terrorists, their facilitators and supporters from Pakistan. Also, its focus is to thwart terrorists’ efforts to regroup, reorganize and execute their attacks in the country. Federal government and all provincial governments should support this operation with absolute political will."
