Police to set up facilitation desks in govt hospitals
IGP Punjab says two police officials will be deployed at the desk.
Punjab Police has decided to set up facilitation desks at all district and divisional government hospitals.
Its aim is to ensure provision of in-time medical facilities to junior police personnel.
This was stated by Inspector General Police Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera while presiding over a meeting in Lahore.
He said two police officials will be deployed at the desk, who will be responsible to complete all necessary procedure at the earliest and ensure provision of financial aid to the police personnel.
Later, talking to newsmen he said a proposal is under consideration to enhance incentives and compensation grant for heirs of police martyrs.
