Bosan for strengthening farmer-agribusiness linkages
Inaugurating Agriculture Conference in Islamabad, the Minister said govt is focusing to minimize cost of production.

Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan says the government is determined to create conducive environment for agriculture related businesses and industries.
Inaugurating a two day Pakistan Agriculture Conference and Exhibition in Islamabad on Friday, he said that concerted efforts are being made to developing linkages of farmers with markets and industries.
The Minister said government is currently focusing to develop mechanisms for minimizing cost of production to increase farmers' interest in the agriculture and livestock.
In his remarks, Mission Director of USAID Gregory Gottlieb said the future of agriculture sector in Pakistan is very bright and his country will continue to support Pakistan for the development of this vital sector.
The moot has been organized by KMK Global Limited whereas being the apex body in agriculture research in the country, PARC is also facilitating the events.
The two day moot would bring together progressive farmers, farm managers, breeders, industry executives, corporate heads, agents, distributers, logistic experts, importers, exporters and government officials.
The representatives from seed fertilizing agencies, agriculture marketing boards, business entrepreneurs, heads of agricultural departments, farm contractors, garden contractors, floriculturists and horticulturists are participating in the two day event.
