BRIEFING

Pakistan says India has clamped a ban on social media in Occupied Kashmir to hide grave human rights violations there.

    

Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said at the weekly news briefing in Islamabad today that India's repressive policies are continuing in Occupied Kashmir.

    

He said Syed Ali Gilani, Aasya Andrabi and Yasin Malik have been arrested.

    

The spokesperson said Jamatul Ahrar has accepted responsibility for terrorist attack in Kurram Agency and everyone knows where this group is based.

APHC

All Hurriyet Conference AJK Chapter presented a Memorandum to United Nations Military Observers Group in India and Pakistan in Islamabad today drawing their attention towards human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.

 

It demanded the UN to play its due role for the grant of right to self-determination to people of  Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The APHC leaders urged the world body to stress upon the Indian government to put an end to state terrorism, fully respect the religious sentiments of the Kashmiris, and restore the social media sites.

 

IHK

In occupied Kashmir, five Indian soldiers including two officers were killed in an attack in Kupwara district, today.

 

According to Indian media, five army personnel including a captain and a Junior Commissioned Officer were killed and several others injured in the attack on army camp at Panjgaon in Chokibal area of the district.

 

PROTEST

In Occupied Kashmir clashes erupted in Pulwama town today, after students marched on the streets, demanding release of their arrested colleagues.

 

Meanwhile the puppet authorities have arrested Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi from her residence in Srinagar.

 

In a statement  Aasiya Andrabi has said that Jammu and Kashmir is not a part of India and anyone forcing people to acknowledge the Indian illegal occupation will have to face the public wrath.

 

TERRORISTS

The security forces in their ongoing operation Raddul Fasaad  have killed ten terrorists across the country.

 

Five terrorists were killed in an encounter with Frontier Corps Balochistan during a search operation in Mand area near Turbat.

 

These terrorists were involved in subversive activities  and other crimes.  

      

Three terrorists were killed in an operation by Counter Terrorism Department at Jahanian in district Khanewal today.

 

In Karachi, two culprits were killed  in an encounter with police in Lyari.

 

Meanwhile,  twenty four criminals, including a target killer have been arrested during different raids in various parts of the city.

 

Huge quantity of arms and ammunitions was also recovered in all these operations.

 

PM-ACHAKZAI

Leader of Pakhtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad today.

 

They discussed political issues.

 

ASIF

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu in Moscow.

     

They exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

 

FISHERMEN

Pakistan Maritime Security Agency has arrested twenty nine Indian fishermen for violating Pakistani territorial waters.

 

According to a Spokesman of the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, five boats have also been taken into custody.

 

Later, the arrested Indian fishermen were handed over to police.

 

UN-NAFTA:

 

The United States has informed Mexico and Canada that  President Donald Trump will not immediately pull out his country from the North American Free Trade Agreement.

       

President Trump said the United States would not terminate NAFTA at this time. The leaders of the three countries agreed to proceed swiftly, according to their required internal procedures.
