Pakistan's soil will not be used against Afghanistan: Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar
This assurance was given to Afghan authorities by a high-level Pakistan Army delegation headed by Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar during a visit to Afghanistan.The delegation conveyed the Afghan authorities that Pakistan Army has control in all areas and is determined to defeat terrorism being a common threat.The delegation is visiting Afghanistan on the directions of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The Pakistani side met Afghanistan's Acting Defense Minister Tariq Shah Bahramee and Afghan Army Chief General Mohammad Sharif Yaftali. The delegation conveyed condolences on behalf of Qamar Javed Bajwa on loss of innocent lives in Mazar e Sharif terrorist attack and expressed solidarity with Afghan forces and people.Free medical treatment in Pakistan to injured of Mazar e Sharif attack was also offered by the delegation. The delegation also held talks on bilateral border coordination measures.

Addressing a seminar titled “CPEC Myths and Realities “at FAST University, Planning Minister urges CPEC presents Pakistan with a historical opportunity to uplift the country's status as the hub of economic activity.He urges the youth to prepare themselves to benefit from the opportunities offered by China Pakistan Economic Corridor.Pakistan has achieved an economic growth rate of 5 percent and has been able to create a favorable socio-economic eco system, which enjoys political stability.Similarly, Pakistan's Vision 2025 focuses on helping Pakistan to leverage its Geo-strategic location in order to explore the inherent economic options. CPEC is a fusion of Pakistan's vision 2025 and China's Vision of One Built One Road initiative.
