Real face of so called secular India exposed- Uttar Pradesh cancels Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Jummat-ul-Wida holidays

The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh's (UP) Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) led government has announced an end to holidays for Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Jummat-ul-Wida, and 15 other public holidays. The announcement was made on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Twitter account on Tuesday. Besides the aforementioned holidays, days off to celebrate the birth of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Chandar Shekhar, and Chaudhry Charan Singh have also been ended.

Census imperative to facilitate the development of socio-economic policie- 2nd phase of 6th population, housing census continues

The Second Phase of 6th Population and Housing Census continues in eighty seven districts across the country simultaneously. The process has been initiated in twenty one districts of Punjab, twenty one districts of Sindh, seventeen districts of Balochistan and twelve districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition, the census process has also been initiated in six agencies of Federally Administered Tribal Areas, five districts of Gilgit Baltistan, five districts of Azad Kashmir and one district of Federal Capital, Islamabad.
