The number of coronavirus cases across the world has surpassed thirty-three million while the pandemic has claimed more than 998,700 lives so far.                   

The United States is the worst hit country with over seven point two million infection cases and nearly 209,100 deaths.

More than twenty-four point four million patients stand recovered.
