The AJK Legislative Assembly in its meeting held in Muzaffarabad on Thursday, concluded general debate on budget for next fiscal year..

On this occasions, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said development funds have been proposed in all constituencies uniformly.

He said for the first time deficit free budget was presented with ADP to the tune of over twenty four billion rupees showing eleven percent increase as compared to the outgoing fiscal year.

He said seventy two percent development funds have been proposed for the ongoing while twenty nine percent for the new schemes.

The Prime Minister said under a well thought-out strategy, the government paid attention on the development of infrastructure in the last three years and now focus has been given to social and production sectors.

The Prime Minister thanked the federal government for releasing necessary funds to the AJK government despite financial crisis.He said federal government has incorporated a project costing three billion rupees for the affectees of LOC in the PSDP in addition to Muzaffarabad Mirpur Mangla Expressway.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan informed the house that 9254 megawatt electricity generation has been identified in AJK under public sector.

The House will now meet tomorrow morning.
