The Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood has said the government is prioritizing development of Special Economic Zones for attracting Foreign Direct Investment and transfer of technology into the country.

Talking to APP in Islamabad, he said Board of Investment is also working towards amendments in the SEZ Act 2012 to provide a conducive environment for the enterprises.

The advisor said due to various shifts in global economy, many manufacturing businesses are relocating from China to other destinations.
