Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman says efforts are underway to save Gilgit-Baltistan from coronavirus epidemic.

This he said after presiding over a high level meeting in which matter pertaining to coronavirus were discussed.

He said emergency was imposed in GB and resources were provided to Health department to take steps for prevention of the epidemic disease.

He directed secretary Health to ensure 95 maskes, coronavirus safety kit and ventilators in isolation wards set up in Gilgit and Baltistan Division.

He said after report of Health department, latter will be sent to Federal Government about opening of Pak-China border via Khunjerab.

The meeting was informed that no any coronavirus case was reported from GB.
