In Libya, twenty four troops have been killed during clashes between UN-backed government forces and east-based army in Abugrein town.

According to a source of east-based army, more than hundred people from both parties have also been injured during the clashes.

Meanwhile, United Nations has condemned attacks on Tripoli's Mitiga airport in Libya as armed conflict between eastern-based army and UN-backed government continues.

In a tweet, United Nations Support Mission in Libya reiterated that attacks against civilian targets, especially public facilities, represent a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

It said that two rival parties, which agreed to a ceasefire on January 12, accused each other of breaching the truce.
