Chairman APHC expresses concern over loss of precious lives in Indian shelling on LoC.
In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani says India is escalating tension on the Line of Control to divert world attention from the brutalities of its forces and the ongoing uprising in the held territory.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the recent Indian shelling on the LoC.
He said targeting of common people, passenger buses and ambulances by the Indian forces was the most cowardly act.
The APHC Chairman said the risk of war between the two nuclear powers would remain unless the Kashmir dispute was resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leaders, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza and Farida Bahenji in their addresses at public meetings in different areas of the state called for settling the Kashmir dispute for ensuring durable peace in South Asia.
On the other hand, two Indian troops were injured when unknown gunmen attacked a convoy of Border Security Force in Wadipora area of Handwara, today.
