PM in Malta to attend Commonwealth summit
The summit will focus on violent extremism, radicalism, Sustainable Development Goals and migration.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Malta to attend three-day Commonwealth Heads of Government summit beginning at Valletta on Friday.
The Prime Minister was greeted at the airport by Pakistani senior officials of Malta and the Pakistan Ambassador.
This summit will focus on violent extremism and radicalism, Sustainable Development Goals and migration.
A special session will be dedicated to climate change.
On the sidelines of the Summit, the Prime Minister will discuss bilateral and global issues with world leaders.
Pakistan is one of the eight founding members of the Commonwealth.
