The Government has started the second phase of Prime Minister's Youth Training Program. During this phase, fifty thousand internships will be awarded to youth having completed sixteen years of education. According to details, a quota of twenty five thousand has been allocated for Punjab, ninety five hundred for Sindh, three thousand for Balochistan, over fifty eight hundred for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one thousand for Azad Kashmir and fifty eight hundred for Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and Islamabad Capital Territory. The internees will be paid twelve thousand rupees per month as a stipend during the one year long internship. The internees will be placed in Federal and Provincial Government departments, educational institutions and private sector bodies for enhancing their skills and employability.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the suggestion of Mariam Nawaz initiated certain schemes for the betterment of youth generation and PM’s Youth Training Program is one of them. PM’s Youth Training Program was initiated in which the youth were being provided with certain technical trainings and 12000 rupees were also paid to the youth as stipend. The youth are also being provided with loan on easy terms and conditions. Almost over 50,000 youngsters will be provided with scholarships in second phase of this program along with the technical training.

China expresses the hope for early completion of projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor

China has reiterated that it attaches priority to its relations with Pakistan and bilateral relations will be further enhanced.   Speaking at a function in Beijing, Chinese Transport Minister, Li Xiaopeng said economic cooperation between China and Pakistan is a model for other nations.  He said an early harvest is expected for projects involving transportation, infrastructure and energy in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Meanwhile, Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain says the government has frustrated all internal and external conspiracies against China- Pakistan Economic Corridor project. He was addressing a ceremony in Ferozwala, District Sheikhupura today.The Minister said that CPEC projects will change the fate of the entire country.

This project will also bring prosperity in rural areas of our country. Certain industrial zones will also be established through this mega project. All the countries in the region will be benefitted through CPEC and will get an easy access to international markets. Afghanistan is also among the countries with maximum benefits of this project. The economy of Afghanistan will also strengthen and peace will be restored. CPEC will bring an economic revolution in the region.

UN Population Fund Observer Team expresses satisfaction on the arrangements made for data collection in Census Process

The United Nations Population Fund observer team led by Uzoma Okoye visited Hassanabdal today to monitor the standard of enumeration process of sixth national census being carried out in sixty three districts in the first phase. They were briefed about the process of enumeration and various initiatives to ensure the process as per international standard. Talking to newsmen on the occasion, Uzoma Okoye said the process is going on smoothly and the arrangements made for data collection are satisfactory. Every citizen should extend full cooperation to enumerators to make the exercise a success.
